THE FINEST HOURS is a HEROIC, ACTION, THRILLER movie which is based on a TRUE STORY.This movie is inspired by the a book “The TRUE Story Behind the U.S. COAST GUARD'S most DARING rescue, ”This film is a true action, thriller and heroic movie which gives a message to the younger generation thatNEVER GIVE UP, FIGHT TILL THE LAST BREATH.This movie shows you the WRATH OF WAVES and how the sailors fight with it to be ALIVE.The movie is inspired by the MOST COURAGIOUS and DARING rescue operation by U.S COAST GUARD IN 1952.

The movie has been released in 3D which gives you a real thrilling experinance and adopted by very less number of THEATRE as most of theatre are not 3D ENABLED and GHAYAL ONCE AGAIN is running sucessfully everywhere.The movie is based on a true story.The movie is all about THE POWER OF SEA and how its wrath destroy everything whatever comes in its way.The movie is all about MAN VERSUS NATURE and how the mankind fight with its nature for its survival.This movie taught as a lesson that the deadly storm and waves can break the boat and tear it into many parts but not the courage.COURAGE wins over all problems and odds.Its one of the best nature based movie which motivate and inspire me a lot.
ABOUT THE CAST:
CHRIS PINE as BERNIE WEBBER and CASSEY AFFLECK as RAY SYBERT are the HEROES of this movie.They are in the lead role along with other co-cast like BEN FOSTER, ERIC BANA, HOLIDAY GRINGER etc.CHRIS PINE as BERNIE WEBBER perfectly suits to his role.In this movie he is represented as SHY, DECENT.UNCONFIDENT and DOUGHTFUL about his ability.He is a man of decipline who follows rule on everything and a perfectionist.He really delivered a great performance.On the other hand RAY SYBERT plays the role of a leader of the wrecked ship.His courage and DARING atitude gives a hope to the crew members.His optimistic attitude is really outstanding and forced me to tell you that even after the movie you cant forget him.ERIC BANA has very little to delivered for his role as he acted as the senior of Chris pine.The limelight queen HOLIDAY GRINGER as MIRIAM plays the role of BERNIE's GIRLFRIEND.She really played her role very well.It seems she is delivering natural expression.And her dialogue delivery in coast guard station is really awesome while she is talking to BANA.
PLOT:
The movie starts with very slow, melodrama, romance scene and in the middle it catches momentum.In 1952 in the month of FEBRUARY, BERNIE is dancing with his girlfriend and proposed her for marriage.MIRIAM is really surprised.But as we knew that HAPPINESS IS TEMPORARY and FATE is unpridictacle.Her happiness is just blown away as her BOYFRIEND is ordered by his SENIOR OFFICER BANA to go for a deadly rescue mission in order to save the 32 CREWS who struck in the middle of the SEA with RAY SYBERT.BANA just provide a small crew and a boat to BARNIE who is already fighting with his past as he failed in a rescue operation which cost him the life of his 8 crews.BARNIE ia doughtful about himself and the team of coast guard crew provided by BANA are inexperianced and underducks.EVERYBODY knows that it is just a suicide mission.In the other hand SYBERT played the role of captain of the WRACKED SHIP and giving hope to his fellow mates.He is the first one who noticed that the ship has leakage and its going to be shunk in few hours.Next is just a history.How the U.S .coast guard saves them after crossing all odds.Thereafter there struggle and problems they overcome to save everyone in sequential order.They knew it very well that is is an impossible mission but still they entered the sea with courage.The movie is well directed and executed .The storms, waves, and graphics are the main attraction of the movie.A truly action thriller movie.
This movie wont allow you to blink your eyes even once throughout the movie.The action and the sequences of storm are really awesome.Completely unpredictable story.This is a MAN VERSUS NATURE movie.while watching it I feel the same presure as the coast guard as I already enter into the character.This movie gives you a heroic sensation after watching it.This is a movie for all segment.I can say this is my type of movie.Just go for it.
