Had marked this for several days, and finally got the chance to add it on my gastronomical adventure list. Well, keeping it short, let's begin the review:
Getting to this restaurant is easy, as it's located in a prime location, just beside the Pantaloons outlet in Camac Street.
Once inside, you can't help but love the way the restaurant is laid out. No, it isn't a themed restaurant, but still, you'll truly love the ambience here, esp. the lovely chandeliers, and the bird cage like enclosures, made of steel, which makes for a lovely seating arrangement.
Ah well, let's jump to the menu. But before that, it's wise for all of you to know that the restaurant does have a "Happy hours" scheme on selected drinks and food items, tentatively from 12 noon to 8pm in the evening. Plan your visits accordingly.;-)
So, we had some Budweiser beers, two Sangrias(one with white wine and the other with red wine as base), two Cosmotinis, roasted peanuts, a chicken pizza(God, I don't remember the name. pardon me.), and another amazing dish called "Chicken Sish Touk".
Yep. quite a fill we had.;-)
The Sangria is an amazing drink. I preferred the one with the red wine as base, partly because I love it's taste. It's basically a red wine drink served with chopped green apples and other fruits, along with a popsicle dipped in it. The popsicle itself has a lot of chopped fruits embedded in it, and you'd savour each and every drop of this drink.
The Cosmotini is also a good drink. It's made of vodka and cranberry juice, and it tastes good.
The pizza served was a thin crust one, loaded with chicken and other toppings. The crust was perfect, and the taste was really good.
And finally, the "Chicken Sish Touk".:-)
This is a premium item, and you'd love how they present it to you. you are served chicken pieces dressed in an amazingly tasty sauce on small pieces of bread, along with three different kinds of dips. Doesn't sound much, I know. But then, you'll have to order it, and eat it, to believe it.
Summing it all up, I believe The Factory Outlet is an amazing place to stretch a leg, gossip, and have fun, all over some amazing collections of mocktails and other drinks you wish to choose. And being near to Park street is another gem in its already glittering crown.
Thank you, "TFO". Keep up the good work.:-)
