This film made exactly on the lines of William Blatty's novel of the same name, still sends chills down the spine. This can be largely attributed I guess to the fact that the author himself wrote the screenplay and produced it too.
The Story about a girl haunted by the demon, was fabulously picturised. The make-up was grisly and there were some head turning scenes as well. great special effects..Some of the scenes that were cut earlier have been shown now, and boy are they something. Everyone in the cast has done a good job. The movie haunts you for a long time after it is over, as did the novel itself
