The DIRTY picture is a clean depiction of the life Silk Smitha. Everyone has witnessed and enjoyed her reel life but it is indeed agonizing to know about her real life. And thanks to Ekta Kapoor for undertaking such a challenging project. Special kudos to the story and dialogues writer Rohit Aurora and of course Milan Lutharia for his direction. Every dialogue is a weighted on and awaited as you go along. Silk always says this in the movie 'Life agar ek hai to do baar kya sochna?' which is actually her philosophy of life and she lives by it every moment till her last breath. Milan Lutharia has done an incredible job of covering the entire life span so subtly. Another mention without which the movie is incomplete is the amazingly talented actress Vidya Balan. She has blended herself so well with the character that they stand equalized.
Difficult to seperate one from the other. She has caught the right nerve of silk and brings in the sensuality only by her attitude. Imran Hasmi, Nasseruddin Shah and Tushar Kapoor have done a good job supporting. Its a treat to watch Naseerji act and every time he is different. The artist from ZNMD and the star in the movie are poles apart characters but he performs with such a ease. Overall a fantastic movie and a must watch for all (adults).
The truth is that hot cakes have a limited shelf life and whatever is hot does become cold fast. Its about making the most in this short span but the true question remains at what cost?
