STORY: Imagine a make-up girl who became an extra and then the most wanted  heroine of the early 80s. Chronicling the meteoric rise and steep fall  of the erstwhile screen sensation - Silk Smitha, The Dirty Picture is  set against the colorful and entertaining backdrop of the South film  industry of the 80’s.

The quintessential siren, Silk, knew her audiences, and it  didn't seem like anything would stop the fiercely ambitious starlet,  till it did, in the shape of unrequited love.

To the world, she was the queen of sensuality. But at heart,  Silk was just another woman craving true love. An unfortunate encounter  with deceit and infidelity led to dire consequences!

Balaji and Milan Luthria team up again after their smash hit,  Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, to create a dazzling and spectacular  musical entertainer that is already in the news for being the most  keenly anticipated drama of the year.

MOVIE REVIEW: "Ooh La La!" - As it is clear from the title of the movie: "The Dirty Picture" that the whole movie is about showing bold scenes and 'masala'.

Vidya Balan, she acted superbly well and she carried herself very well in the various bold and sexy as well as in some dirty scenes. She has given her best performance till date with this movie. She has proved that acting can go to immense level and which can make everyone very thrill. I Love Vidya Balan in this movie. She is the best. She is the only charm in the movie. Vidya Balan has really worked very hard for this movie.

From the very first movie such as "Parineeta (2005)", although there were also some dirty scenes but in that movie she is very simple and shy but not as bold as compared with this movie: The Dirty Picture.

Also, if we look at the Vidya's career from the beginning till now to The Dirty Picture, we can easily identify that only the The Dirty Picture will definitely be the best. Although, the movie "Ishqiya (2010)" is somehow similar to The Dirty Picture but this movie will remain be the best.  

Director Milan Luthria, has made the movie to the point. None of the scenes were wasted and has used very properly and he has made the movie according to the story. Also, we should not forget the one person more that is the "Ekta Kapoor". She has shown that the 'women-centric movies' can be made much more inspiring instead of showing awful drama.

The movie is totally balanced and is completely aligned with the story and in every scene their is a correct use of dialogues and songs. Such as the scene in the beginning of the movie when one old man tries to flirt with the "Vidya Balana as Reshma" and she replied to that old man that, "Aapko Holi khelne ka shock to bahut hai, par teri pichkari main dum kaha hai!". Thus we can notice that how correctly the dialogues are being used on the one hand and also on the another hand Vidya Balan - in her character - also doesn't hesitate in telling such "non-veg dialogues".

Thus, This is the main charm of the movie as well as of Vidya and also of her character. Vidya is very bold, sexy and beautiful too and has given various best and surprising scenes that even a man or a male actor would think hundred times before in-acting such sexy and dirty scenes. The entry of the Vidya Balan is very sexy and bold. The way she say that, "aah.. aah" were superb! And also before the interval she also has shown the hot scene inspired with the previous. Since the movie is dirty so the entry of the lead actress has to be like this only!

And all the Lead actors such as the Naseeruddin Shah, Tusshar Kapoor and the Emraan Hashmi has given their good performances and has worked very hard for the movie. But in all of them only Naseeruddin sir, is the best one. His chemistry with Vidya is the best. Vidya's chemistry is also very good with the Tushaar and Emraan. Tushaar has done a good work according to the role given to him. After Naseeruddin Sir, only Emraan's chemistry with Vidya is the best.  The position or tagline of Emraan Hashmi's serial kisser popularity is now in trouble after this movie and whole tagline of serial kisser is going with the Vidya. From this movie we can call Vidya as the "Female Emraan Hashmi"  or "Female Serial Kisser" or simply the "Serial Kisser".

Vidya Balan has enjoyed and lived her character of the Dancing star - "Silk Smitha"  very deeply and  superbly. The story shows that how the dancing star "Silk Smitha" has lived her life very hard and has done everything to get into the films. Her life gives and throws some light to the darkness or dark side of Bollywood and also dark side of becoming an actor or actresses may be of A, B or C grade. As shown in the movie, that there are many filmmakers who exploit many women - who wants to join films - by making nude movies and sell them in order to get entry into the Bollywood or films.

The death of Silk Smitha is very touching and she lived her life boldly and has face the world with courage. And this is the only charm and power of the movie. Vidya deserves full applauds for doing such a film of great courage and has now set a new trend in bollywood.

For Vidya, this year - 2011 is the Best. She has played both the real life character roles in the movies such as "No One Killed Jessica" and "THE DIRTY PICTURE". One of the character was of the Sabrina Lal whose sister Jessica was murdered in a party and another character was of the dancing star "Silk Smitha". Both these movies released in the beginning of each month. The movie "No One Killed Jessica" released on 7th January, 2011 which was also the first hit of the year 2011 and "THE DIRTY PICTURE" released on the 2nd December, 2011 which is not the last but the second last hit and also released on the birthday of the dancing star "Silk Smitha".

The music of the movie is very great. Vishal-Shekhar music is alwayas be the best. Among all the tracks or songs of the movie, the best tracks are definitely be the "Ooh La La" and "Ishq Sufiyana".

For me, Neither the Dabaang, Singham, Ra.One nor the others like the Don 2 are the best but -------"THE DIRTY PICTURE" stands  out fully. I fully recommend this movie and is the BEST!

I wish Vidya keeps on doing such bold and best movies forever. She will remain be the best forever.
