Story:

I ve been reading paulo coelho's novel for quite some time now ...his 'WITCH OF PORTOBELLO' being my favourite and extremely interesting ...i decided to read all the novels he has written...

"The Devil and Miss Prym" is a simple story about a place named Viscos ...a beautiful small village...bounded by mountains...with a few hundred inhabitants who live peacefully...

Who are well accuctomed to their simple life...not seeking too many luxuries..atleast thats wat they try to show on the outside....in this small population lives a young girl named Chantal Prym...who works in a local bar..but who knows her life just cannot be wasted living in Viscos...

but the peace is about to come to an end when...A tourist comes to Viscos and befriends the ppl there...eventually offering them eleven gold bars(which woud be enough money for generations of Viscos to live peacefully)..for a simple yet dreadful deed...that the villagers would murder one person

what eventually happpens is for you to read and find out...The novel is well written and doesnt allow ur mind to get diverted at all...as usual...Paulo Coelho has blended a suspense story well with spirituality...it shows when offered with luxuries in life ..a man readies to commit a sin.how our evil tries to take over our soul..and all we do is blame the circumstances when instead it is us who is to blame.....

definitely worth a reading...have a good time........
