Story:

The Da Vinci Code has sought a lot (trust me when I say a lot) of attention in the past few months. By now nearly everyone knows the story and the details.

The reason why this book steals every reader's attention is because of Dan Brown's talent. He has indeed woven a great tale. I must say that it is a 'tale'. It is a work of 'fiction'. However, Dan Brown mentions in the beginning of the book that all the facts in the story are true. And, he is right, they are true. All the descriptions of the churches, cathedrals, the fibonacci sequence and the innumerable other facts are true. What stirred up the controversy was that the book claims that Jesus had a blood line.

Now heres what the author actually did:

Dan Brown has picked up an topic (a really controversial topic, again believe me when I say 'really'), the truth of which nobody knows. It is like the question of 'whether man really landed on moon?'. A documentary shows that man didn't but many claim that he did indeed step on moon. Similarly, he has chosen this topic. He has woven this controversial topic into a book which contains fictitious characters and a made up story.

While you must enjoy the story and the rest but in the end, the choice is yours. Believe what you want to.

Recently, a movie has released based on the book and I'm sure everybody knows about the issue it created (the media yelled it all out). The director of movie himself said that if you think it will offend you then don't watch the movie, wait till somebody else sees it and then make up your mind.

I thought it would be nice to let people who were confused after reading the book and for those who want to read the book but don't want to be offended.
