The place is located next to Radio Mirchi office in Kamala Mills Compound and the ambiance was really like a canteen . We visited this place on Independence Day .With banana leaf service and community style eating, the Independence Daawat promised an inimitable experience to mark the national celebration. They had a set menu for this day. We were served 4 types of sabjis, pao, chaas, kokum drink, chips, waffers, biryani( which was Yummmm) and an eggless dessert. The best thing was the owners were serving us. They were dressed traditionally where girls wore a white indian dress with a green and orange color dupatta and men wore a while color Kurta. Dil khush ho gaya!
