The reason why I purchased this product is that a year or two ago, I purchased this in hopes that it will help with my acne. I did plenty of research on tea tree oil and I have tried several products that contains this ingredient and I didn't see much improvement. Well my local Body Shop was having a special on their tea tree oil products so I purchase a couple of items.
The scent smelled typical of the tea tree oil so it didn't bother me. The texture of the gel was very light and absorbed rather quickly into my skin and it didn't leave a greasy film on my skin. After a while I started noticing that I was breaking out more and more. I assumed that my skin was just purging so I kept using it. Well I used it well over a month until I realised that something in this product was breaking me out. I couldn't bear throwing it away since I paid a good amount of money for it. I wanted to return it but I lost the recepit. I am so mad at myself that I can spit. I can't recommend this in good faith.
