This movie was an international bestseller. For an initial outlay of a few hundred thousand dollars it brought in millions at the box ofice.
Why? That is a very good question. The movie offered nithing new, it simply rehashed many ideas that had gone before. It did however deliver them in the style of a documentary, filmed by the people who ultimately died as t the hands of the Blair Witch.
Look beyond this and you will find there is no originality - this storyline has been covered a thousand times. The acting is OK but nothing special, and the special effects are well below average. Apart from the hype there is nothing to see in this film.
Why would you watch it? To form your own opinion and to be ble to stand out from the crowd and say ''This movie is totally average and adds nothing to the history of the motion picture.''
Alternative ways to spend your time include toenail clipping, balancing your bank account and watching the last day of a cricket match when the result has been determined.
