What a great idea for a small budget movie, take two to three handycams, take two of your friends along with you, select a location that looks creepy and create a movie and be rich (err! I dont think you can be) and famous.
This movie is about three collegians trying to collect information about the legendary evil power known as 'The Blair Witch'.
The witch resides somewhere in the woods of South America.
In the beginning they start off by interrogating some people about their experience of the Blair Witch and where it can be found.
Then they decide to go into the woods to find about the legend. But then evil strikes and hell breaks loose and they are haunted by the strange power of the witch.
All this time I was sitting and watching the movie with a pounding heart and twitchy nerves. One of my friend said that the movie is a real footage found in America, and I started feeling the witch moving all around me and as the end came nearer, I was almost going to scream the hell out of my voice, but thinking about that it was night and my neighbours beating me up, I gave up the thought of screaming and in the end all the cameras fall down and the witch occupies those students and as the credits rolled I took a deep breath, as it was only a movie made to look real. I again became the king of my castle and went in the loo and oh my god!, there was a big.........
cockroach, hey, but that was enough to scare the big jesus out of me.
I have never seen a horror movie so intensely made and so effectively presented. None of them act as they are acting. It seemed so real that I could not sleep for the whole night and thinking of the Blair Witch made me sick!!
