Why I bought this book?

I will be honest about it- any book that has become able to grab any award is always on my hot list. I try to collect and read such books as my personal favorites.

The Bear Comes Home by Rafi Zaroor has won the PEN award. This book spans around 500 pages and deals with a very uncommon subject- Jazz. The main protagonist is a bear who can play the saxophone. The storyline goes deeper into how music is created and crafted. The book has examples of numerous gigs and recording. It should be on the book-shelves of all music lovers, especially people who love Jazz.

I would consider this a very entertaining reading and will surely gift-wrap this for someone close.
