The hotel is located in sector 22 of Chandigarh and is about a 15-20 minute walk from the main shopping area in sector 17.
Executive suites well furnished to a high standard and very comfortable. The only slightly disappointing aspect of the rooms were the bathrooms which had windows that were mosquito shields and had no glass to allow them to be shut - this meant that they were not air conditioned and there was no way of blocking out the considerable traffic and street noise. There was also a shower fitted but no shower curtain - this was not a big problem if you bathed Indian style with the supplied bucket and cup!
We used the restaurant on a few occasions and the food was always excellent. On our departure we asked for parathas to be packed for our train journey to Shimla - these were provided at very low cost and packed very well with pickles - they provided a very tasty meal later in the day!
I can recommend this hotel wholeheartedly as a good alternative to the more expensive 4 star properties in Chandigarh.
