Well this goes for all those wannabe CEOs in the crowd. I recommend all of you a show on Star World named “The Apprentice” on star world at 9:00 pm Fridays. This show is one of the most intriguing shows when it comes to online challenges and competition. It has in it all the academic rigor, street smartness, stresses of real life and real challenges to be met during the series called season (aka FRIENDS). But the ultimate reward is a job which gives them a 6 figure salary… and chance to show their faces and skills (both professional as well as personal) through the camera to all the prospective employers. They are given live projects in marketing, finance, logistics, advertising, you name it… And these projects are with big shots like Nestle, Lux etc to name a few. All this talk might be a little boring for people who think television is basically for entertainment. For them this show has all the drama, the emotion and the thrill of any popular sitcom you name. Yes it too has plots and strategies with which our Indian viewers are so much familiar, thanks to Star pariwaar and the pariwaarwale. The camera follows the participants in every task they undertake and the actual product launches, marketing strategies development etc by people just like us makes this show very inspiring for people with ambition. A must see for people who think sky is the limit!!!
