THE ALCHEMIST- MAGICAL, MEANINGFUL, MUST READ. Review on The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho

I tried out this book because it was a dead famous bestseller and everybody including my some of friends who read very less recommended it. I thought,'' This book has to be something awesome''. So, I got it and begun the quest to find out what magic it held.

I begun reading it in the morning and could not stop reading it untill my mother dragged me out if it. It created a real hypnotic effect. Now, you'll wonder what it did to me. It changed me. The message that the book gives is so important. It is all about following your dream, believing in your heart, finding your destiny, doing what you think is right and not letting petty things, like what others will think about your decision, affect you. It makes you think about what life actually is.

I must say that to read and appreciate this book, you need PATIENCE. There are a few paragraph's which you have to read thrice to get a grip over it. The meaning they spread is wonderful.

The book is very philosphical. So, if you are not that type, then I suggest you don't read this book. The author's writing style is very, very, very simple. You would be surprised to know that throughout the book, the author does not reveal the name of the main character. Most of the characters do no have names. They are referred to as the boy or the alchemist or the girl. This makes the story less captivating. I even got bored for a few pages but in the end I fell for it.

Initially, I thought that the story is wierd but after reading, I realised what the author wanted to spread. It was like this - A stranger comes and writes down your past in front of you and consider it to be perfectly normal!! How wierd can that be!

But still, I say, read this book, it will help you in ife too.
