I read the alchemist after in TV I saw an actress (the beautifull and busy girl) said that she does not want to marry in her young age. May be God has created her for another purpose that she has not notice yet. Hmmm, this actress (local actress age of 25) sound so wise to me. After that, I decice to find this book.
I found that the original or the english version is more expensive (10 times more), so I bought the translation verse.
Paulo Coelho wrote something than can happen in everybody's life. He made me think it's OK if you have desire-even if that desire leads you to a huge mistakes. Somehow, it's always a way back, Lord will show you the way. Mr Paulo, I guess, has tasted the life himself, he has done a lot ups and downs.
Instead of thinking why I should get through this an that, why I can't have what I've pray for a long time, I'm thinking about enjoying life. I have to get through all of that in purpose.
Anyway, something ruin my imagination. In the first place, santiago is a boy, so I imagine that he is between 12 years old in the meadow surround by goats. In the middle part of the book, Santiago was in love with a girl and ready to marry her. ( I read the translation book in Indonesian language, may be it's because of the languge change).
