God save me. Review on Thanga Vettai

This was one of the few shows released in SunTv that was so hyped yet proved to be disaster. The show might be running well now but its viewers are reducing. The host Ramya Krisnan could be better if only she stops screaming and shows better interest on the show than on her Saree. It is so artificial that in each and every show the participant asks her the make and type of the saree. This show was introduced to compete Jaya TVs Jackpot but has faltered in appealing to the audience. The TV has to be muted when the host screams. The questions are also not interesting and does us no good in improving our knowledge. The only item that twempts us is that the gold really glitters and the truth that they are really given away at such a cheap price. There is no test for our knowledge and it seems to be very easy to get through the rounds and even kids are able to do it without any problem. After so much of prerelease funda when the show went to air it proved to be a hit but lost market subsequently. After being used to see progammes late night this proves to be worse than a horror movie with screams, shrieks, howls and woos. With such a programme in hand only God can save us.
