UNFORTUNATELY.....I saw this movie!!!. Review on Tere Naam

Another film,which was given lots of hype,and got an excellent advance booking is ''Tere Naam.This film is easily one of the most awaited film,of this year because of Salman Khan!This film has nothing different!There is romance and romantic songs,still people think it will be different because of Salman Khan`s tow different hairstyles!In the first half,he is shown,wearing a wig,where as in the second half,he is shown bald!This is true,that different hairstyles of an actor cannot turn a film different,which is as old as hills!(To add some masala,they have added something different but otherwise,the same old movie!)

THE FILM:

''Tere Naam'',directed by Satish Kaushik,stars Salman Khan,Anang Desai and others,with Mahima Chaudhary,in a special appearance and a debutante,south films actress Bhoomika Chawla!One of the most awaited film of the year,people are curious to know more about this movie,because:

1.This is Salman Khan`s comeback after so many flops like Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam and ''Yeh Hai Jalwa!

2.This film is said to be made on Salman Khan`s life!(His affair with Ash!)

3.Salman Khan has been shown in two different hairstyles,in this movie!

4.After giving so many flops,director Satish Kaushik is sure that this one os going to be a nice film!

5.This film is the remake of a superhit south indian film ''SETHU''

So,does it all live up to the expectations?NO!

THE CHARACTERS AND PERFORMANCES:

1.Radhe Mohan(Salman Khan):Radhe Mohan,is a young,cool dude,a college-going boy!He is a lively boy who falls in love with a simple,beautiful girl Neerjari!He lives with his brother and sister-in-law!One day an unfortunate incident takes place,due to which he turns mad!Salman Khan(troversy) is back,after all the flops,last year!After so many controversies like the one with Vivek Oberoi,more was expected!The comeback he makes is disappointing because one would have expected much more than this performance from Salman Khan!This performance isn`t clapworhty,at all!In the first half,he doesn`t impress at all,and in the second half,he is a bit better!THAT`S IT!

2.Neerjara(Bhoomika Chawla):Neerjari is a simple,beautiful daughter of a priest,who falls in love with Radhe.She studies in college and everything changes in her life,when Radhe turns crazy.Bhoomika Chawla impresses the viewer and looks sweet.She isn`t glamorous at all,but as a performer she shines,and deserves praises!She has already worked in South Indian films,and this film proves,that she can act well,in Bollywood movies,/b>,also without exposing,unlike other debutantes!However,she should work a bit more on her overall look!

Others are unimpressive like Sachin Khedekar!Anang Desai also disappoints and the others go over-the-top!Mahima Chaudhary is such a talented actress.Films like Lajja and Pardes prove it but why she accepts such roles!Why these item numbers?Let`s hope she performs well,in her next film Baghbaan in which Salman Khan is there with her!(It also stars Ambitabh Bachchan,Hema Malini and Rimi Sen)

THE STORY:

Radhe,is a young,college-going boy who depends on his brother and sister-in-law!He falls in love with a Brahmin girl Nirjara.He even tells about his feelings to her but she doesn`t love him.As it takes ice some time to melt,she admits her love towards Radhe,when she realizes how Radhe helped her sister!As,this is a tragic love story,one unfortunate day,some gangsters beat Radhe up,because he interefered in their brothel business.As a result,Radhe turns mad!What happens next?

THE WORK OF THE CREW:

Satish Kaushik,the king of flops,is back with a bang after showing us nightmares like Badhaai Ho Badhaai!This time,also his direction is not up-to the mark!He has made the film just for the heck of it!Screenplay is just alright!Editing is loose and the film drags in the second half,like anything!Cinematography is nice and the music is dull.Only one song,Oudhni,is a bit better!Action scenes are good(but get on your NERVES,later!)!

ON THE WHOLE:

''Tere Naam'' suffers from many weaknesses,like poor direction,Salman`s performance with a silly,stupid wig ON.Also,there is alot of violence,maar-dhaar,etc.(ONLY)Some people will like it!Agreed,this film isn`t PATHETIC but also not great.It is VERY DISAPPOINTING!This film can be viewed for time-pass only otherwise there is no point in vieweing it!

NOTE:Salman Khan`s fan will love him but other`s will really dislike it!
