Himesh Reshammiya is back! And except for the look there's no such improvement. The only thing he has worked on is his body. His determination is admirable. Despite being criticised for his acting in every movie, he is not ready to give up.
This is a sequel to his debut movie, 'Aap Ka Suroor'. Except for the fact that both are love stories, there is no similarity. Calling it a sequel is probably an attempt to cash in on the former's popularity which possibly recovered money because of its songs and that Himesh had removed his cap for the first time.
Himesh plays an assassin Raghu who moves heaven and earth to get his lady love Tara, falsely accused of drug trafficking, out of jail in Dublin. He takes help from an Indian ambassador(Shekhar Kapur), Indian Police Chief(Kabir Bedi) and a jailbreak expert(Naseeruddin Shah).
Dublin is beautifully captured in the movie. Some songs are good but they fail to convey Himesh's feelings. He is expressionless. Perhaps in his next movie, he should hire the Baahubali VFX team to put some expressions with the help of technology. So far every director has failed to get a reaction out of him.
The movie is a sinking ship which even the proficient actors couldn't salvage. I felt bad for the actress who had to shoot intimate scenes with Himesh Reshammiya. She is beautiful.
The tagline of the movie is a lethal love story which now I feel is their way of saying movie is lethal.
It's a masala flick with meaningless action and corny dialogues. It's all about Himesh. The saving grace is movie's running length 1 hour 46 minutes, unlike usual Bollywood movies. Thank God they realised that beyond this point, you cannot bear Himesh.
Stay away if you can't bear him. If you still want to watch the film, remember you were warned!
