Ten Worst Music Directors of Hindi Cinema.

Being born and raised in a musical family, I have always been fond of Hindi music more than other foreign languages music. Nowadays, we hear on the radio, that highly influential rap stars also takes some clips of some'Indian music' to add onto their songs. And, indian music is also suitable for listening in the western world. I sometimes become proud of what where our, unique, exotic music is going through. Yet, there is always the bad apple. Yes, those types of music directors who made you ashamed of being a fan of Indian music.

Entitled to my opinion.Whom most of them happens to be theives of Hindi Cinema!

Please check out the I2FS website. It explains it all for you.

The Ten Worst!: Oh, & by the way, some of my comments on these music directors are short. To tell you, these music directors are awful. And if I haven't clearly prove my point, then, I recommend you to go and listen yourself to see how bad they are.

Nadeem - Shravan: Look at their faces. Even the look on their faces reveal that they are the pathetic duos. And they do nothing but steal music from great and admirable music makers. From Arabian singers to English best rock singers! Including Tamil songs! N-S are not even music makers! Their songs are not even great to be memorable! Their'music' debuted in a film called Maine Jeena Seekh Liya and their first song blatantly copied Simon & Garfunkel's'Sounds of Silence'! - My favourite band and song! N-S always proclaim that they will win awards from each of the music they have made, HA! After winning an award for Raja Hindustani - [Which was awful by the way], they haven't won anything else! Yet, the worse of all, is when they compare themselves to a music genius, A.R. Rahman. N-S say that'Pardes deserves 100/100 and Taal deserves 70/100'! How dare they say that? You think'Ob La Dee' is a good song? I recommend that song for the mental asylum of the stupid music people! Argh! Bad! Bad! Bad!. A.R. Rahman is a genius and he is THE Music Director! N-S both are theives! If you wanna know more bashing of this so called'music-makers', check out Aamir Khan's film Akele Hum Akele Tum and the spoofs on N-S. Their songs are very typical, with no amazement at all. It was only durings the very very early 90s(1990-92) where their music was satisfactory.

The thing is you should carefully examine the songs they make: They have the same use of orchestra that have been using for the past 20 years! And at the end of each song, all the violins octavely goes down until they strike to the lower note - all the time! So annoying! They never try anything new(meaning notes, percussion, other instruments). The worse of all is when they use nasal user'Kumar Sanu' as their lead singer. Including bad, screeching chorus who sing very loudly. That is just so bad. Ugh.

Anand Raaj Anand: Tauba, Tauba. If the music is bad, of course the movie will be bad! Forget about the music for a second, and take a look at the movie titles this music director worked in:

*Bichhoo(2000)

Hadh Kar Di Aapne(2000)

Hote Hote Pyaar Ho Gaya(1999)

Tirchi Topi Wale(1998)

Pardesi Babu(1998)

Bandhan(1998)

Major Saab(1998)

Qila(1998)

Aakrosh(1998)

2001(1998)

and many more awful flop, cheap movies with bad titles*

Of course they will be cheap movies! Listen to the songs. Who allowed them to be music directors? They cannot make a decent punjabi/bhangra song. Their use of bhangra drumming may be interesting in some parts, but then they repeat it over and over. They have no tunes, no good lyrics and no good singers most of the time. It's a definate no no for them. Too awful. You cannot stand one second listening to the songs, it's just too corny and not even musical!

Aadesh Shrivastava: The guy who screamed'GUSTAKHIYAN HAI, BETAABIAN HAI!' from Aankhen, he gave me a headache after that. Oh, and who can forget the ever annoying, 'Say Shava Shava' from K3G! Tsk, tsk, tsk. No, no, no. No good for my ears at all. Even though he uses a new style of music, the tunes/lyrics are mediocre.

Anand Milind: Even though they have started out fantastically with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak - You know the famous song, 'Papa Kehte Hain' and'Ae Mere Humsafar'. it was shocking to know, that the other songs from this film are not original! After that, they continously kept on showing their use of flute and cheap tabla works. For example the songs from Beta, Suhaag, Chal Mere Bhai and Dil. The songs in those films had very similar tunes and use of beats/rhythms. I was thinking, why aren't they changing their style to make it interesting? It's the same thing over and over! I got sick of it. And now they have become the worst when they put their cheap music into cheap movies.  Such as working in Govinda's films.

Ram Laxman: The man behind Sooraj Barjatya. The one who have the longest titles for his films, and in those films has the longest songs! Remember'Dhik Tana, Dhik Tana'? and'Chocolate, Lime Juice'? Using screeching Lata Mangeshkar as his lead singer in most of the songs? [Hey, Lata was good in her early days, not now.] Okay, how about'ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ.I LOVE YOU!'? I can't say any more. I mean. It is just too bad for a hit music director! He uses 6 singers in each song, and each singer has their own verse! Why? He even made his crappy songs, from copying other songs! The only decent song. and the only was, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun title song. That's all I can think of. Only one decent song!
