Hi, This is my first review on mouthshut.com. hope u people like it. Anyway to get a list of worst Hindi movies, is liking picking up some drops of water from the ocean, since Bollywood is itself a vast ocean of mediocricity. Anyway I am picking up 5 worst movies in no order, which I had the misfortune of watching.

1) Rajkumar: This Anil Kapoor-Madhuri Dixit starrer was based on Kevin Costner's Robin Hood:Prince of Thieves. I expected much from Pankaj Parasher after Jalwa and Chaalbaaz, but this movie was such a terrible one, that I wondered if it was same director.Imagine 2 kings fighting over Reena Roy, the princess dancing in public like a nautanki girl and Anil Kapoor completely miscast in title role. Mr.Parasher please watch Dharam Veer if u want to direct a costume drama.

2) Mohabattein: On seeing this 3 and half hour torture in second show( I wasted my precious sleep), I wondered what was the movie about? 3 guys encouraged by a loony idiot of a teacher, to love and romance. 2 heroines who literally wear nothing throughout the movie. The funniest scene in the movie is when Kim Sharma is pushed into water, and she covers herself. Hello, throughout the movie she is seen only in shorts and minis, and when did she become a demure pativrata. DDLJ was entertaining, but this movie was one big yawn.

3) Dil To Paagal Hai: Pyaar Dosti Hai, Dosti Pyaar Hai, Tum Pyaar ko Dosti Math Samajhna. Oh my god, by the time this movie was over,i was confused about pyaar and dosti. I could never make out what this movie intended to convey it all. And this was directed by Yash Chopra, the man who gave us those brilliant classics like ''Deewar'', ''Trishul'',''Lamhe'',''Kabhie Kabhie''. He must have slept through the movie. The only saving grace was Karishma Kapoor's spunky performance.

4) Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham: First and foremost I find Karan Johar the most over rated director, and his KKHH was no great movie, but at least the first half was good. No such mercies in this movie. This movie reminded me of the old family socials of the 60's, where you had a scowling papa, the estranged son and the younger son. Every family story cliche was used up in this movie, albeit stylishly.

5) Shaan: After watching the brilliant Sholay, this movie was so mediocre, that I was left wondering whether it was the same Ramesh Sippy. It had great action sequences, glitzy sets, god songs, but unfortunately no story nor character. Sholay scored because of its characters, every character stays with you. But in Shaan none of the characters excite you, coz there is no depth involved. And the villian Shakaal is no patch on Gabbar. The only worth mentioning performance is Mazhar Khan's cameo as the beggar Abdul.
