Well, there are some personalities in Bollywood who are over-hyped and over-rated in all aspects. The main reason for this is because they have been working in heavy-budget movies with famous film makers and co-stars. Moreover the Indian audience gets easily attracted towards movies which are too much in news and finally these turn out to be great flops.
So here are the top 10 over-rated personalities which do not deserve so much appreciation.(Ranked 1 to 10) with their ratings by me out of 5:
*1. Emraan Hashmi:(1.5/5)
He just doesn't deserve to act in the industry. Just because he carries out kissing scenes very well does not make him a good actor. His acting skills are very poor and cant even potray proper emotions on-screen. The Bhatt camp have been un-necessarily casting him and that's how he's getting all the fame. Instead they can concentrate more on Shiney Ahuja. Worst performance-The Killer.
* 2. Priyanka Chopra:(1.5/5)
* She has the looks only. But if it comes to acting and potraying the characters on screen she's too bad! Too hyped just because she's been doing many films. In fact she looks better in negative roles like in Aitraaz. Her too bad performances in Krishh, Don, Salaam-e-Ishq were one of the reasons why the movies didnt do so well as expected. Worst performance-Krishh.
3. Abhishekh Bachchhan:(2/5)
He's the man with no talent but only the'Bachchhan' that he carries behind his name. No acting talents. His worst performances were in 'Dhoom2'.
4. Salman Khan:(2/5)
He's been in the industry since so many years. yet I dont get it why he looks so fatigued and sleepy. His performances have been very bad in Salaam-e-Ishq and Jaan-e-Mann.
5. Mallika Sherawat:(2.5/5)
She has shown the industry her daring talent in films like Murder. But still she's only an average in terms of acting and has only looks. I just dont know why does she charge so much and thinks herself to be very superior.
* 6. Ameesha Patel:(2.5/5)
Its time that she understands the strong need for signing a hit film apart from being just glamourous. She has not been able to attract the audience in movies likeHoneymoon Tr., Vaada, etc
* 7. Fardeen Khan:(2.5/5)
* He's a brand ambassador of many but if it comes to acting skills, he is still far behind. His films have never been able to be superhits.
8. Kareena Kapoor:(2.5/5)
She has only the looks but still is not recommendable for acting. Her only good performance was in Omkara.
9. Hrithik Roshan:(3/5)
He is a great dancer but great dancing doesnt make him the best. He says he has not godfather and had topped only by himself. I think he should re-think. Out of 14 films he's done only 5 were hits out of which 3 were made by his father and the other 2(K3G, Dhoom2) were hits as they were multi-starrers.
10. Sushmita Sen:(3/5)
Just because she's been Miss Universe doesnt mean she's the best. Her worst performances include Zindaggi Rocks and Main Hoon Naa.
