THE MOST STABLE BATSMEN in world cricket.he is so tough both physically and mentally.i think the most toughest cricketer.the shots he plays simply superb.i think this is not just enough to praise him.such a cricketer he is.

sorry for rating sachin down to 2.but his recent form forced me like that.but he is a master piece.he will be alegend as long as the cricket lives.he is inspiring for many young cricketers.what to say about his highest centuary records.its very difficult to break that record for any cricketer.he is a true LEGEND
3.BRIAN LARA:
Not a success ful captain but surely he is one of the most successful batsmen.no one can comment against his batting style.but if he plays for team rather than for himself,he too would stay as a legend
4.RICKY PONTING:
any body wants to have a dream captain like himhe is so active in the field and also keeps his team active.not only that he plays well well and inspires the others.he played a main role in wining 2003 world cup
5.GLENN MACGRATH:
one of the fastest bowlers of modern cricket and the most successful bowler.maintains the line always and he s a great bowler
