It is very often that you are watching a movie or a serial sitting on the edge, with your nails biting, with you holding your breath that your are on the verge of getting asphyxiated and then BONG! What the f? Mouthing expletives you sit tight and angry and sulky and start watching.? you guessed it right, the commercials. But it is very rare, that you watch a commercial that it still rings in your mind when are with your friends, or in an important meeting that a sweeping thought of that commercial passes by and an involuntary smile appears on your face keeping your other associates just guessing.

It is very rare that a commercial so impresses you that you run to your television set to get a small glimpse of that commercial though you were talking to your long lost friend? Yeah, I do sometimes because such commercials come once in a blue moon and I wont miss them. I will be honest enough to say that such commercials are very rare and I really reminiscing them. Cause they touch your heart, and share something really delicate with us.

Ok, now to the stuff.I have a baaad memory, so I will jot down the ones from the latest to the antiques.

  1. The new Airtel Ad.'Express Yourself'

the ad with'Say Yes', 'Say No'.Was it an ad or something? It was as though the ad told everything it wanted to say and even then it didnt make me twitch with anger or irritation. Can a phone convey so myriad of human emotions? The answer is a resounding'YES'. But maybe ill give this a try. And this is where the commercial succeeds. Makes you think of buying it.

  1. The new Airtel Ad.'The visually challenged'

No. no. not a typo. It is also about the new ad featuring the visually challenged boy. Ever seen a person laughing his heart away inspite of all his shortcomings. Ever seen so big a satisfaction. What a make-up model couldnt achieve this ad achieved it. Makes us think if our actions can ever so many such disadvantaged people around us. MSers listening? We have so huge a fraternity here. Cant we do something? This ad for the reason it reminds us of our humanity. to stay human.

  1. Saint gobain Glasses.'The complete list'

The series of ads to indicate the quality of the glass do strike a chord. Funny and to the point. Can there be anything better marketable about its quality than a glass with no scratches, absolutely clean n smooth?

  1. Coke Ads by Aamir

The Hyderabadi one, the one with the Punjabi da puttar and the the one with the'paanch' thingy. To the point. A canvas of aamir's talent. Goes well with Coke by your side.

  1. Cadbury's Dairymilk'Cricket Ad'

Barring the worms controversy, this is was one great ad about pure unadulterated fun. Great choreography. The best. Mind sharing chocolate with me?;)

Thnx for correcting me here.whacko.

  1. Raymonds.

The complete man ad is always an enigma atleast for me. And it always impressed me. The one with the teacher reminds of the Indian moral values and respect for adults. More of this should come.

  1. The Bajaj Ad

The ad with the values in the youth inspite of being modern. Great. No double speak here. We are the Gen-Z. Modern yet rooted in our indian traditions and values. Its our asset not our weakness.

Thanx for the correction here, Jedi

  1. Chevrolet

Good music. stunnig visuals.

  1. Fevicol Ads

How could I forget these set of ads. If you are seeing a fevicol ad you can be pretty sure that you are going fall off your chair and roll on the floor laughing. Pretty goooooooood stuff. Must have stuck it up top of the roll call at number one. Lot of Indianity attached to it.

  1. Amul ads

Im not talking about the TV commercial here but the hoardings. To the point and always up to date.

  1. New ads on Water Conservation and Respect of our National Anthem should set the newest brains of modern india thinking. Did they ever go and salute a national flag or stand in attention when the national anthem was being sung? More'Nos' that'Ayes' if I was expecting a honest reply.

Ok, as for MS, thanks for all the support.

I writing, you reading, we all happy.

Strata Buon.
