10. Worlds craziest videos
World’s craziest video is a really funny show, which comes on pogo channel. The main concept of the show is to show funny incidents caught on the tape from all over the world. The show has a wonderful presentation and the set is quite amazing too. The highlight of the show is “craziest clip of the week” segment, which is shown at the end of it.

9. L.O.C.- life out of control
Life out of control is show between two families- one from Pakistan and the other from India. Two men from each family happen to work in same restaurant in England. And due to some circumstances two families have to share a house. And so there is a partition half room goes to one family and other half to the other. Its almost like family no1 but the rivalry is more intense and funny
Pros: -The fights between then are quite hilarious
Cons: -Basically the concept as that of Family n.o. 1

8. Frasier
Welcome to the life of physcologist Dr Frasier Crane. He is a successful man who practices through a locale radio station in Seattle. He lives with his brother Niles Crane and his father and with Niles girlfriend. It is a story on how Frasier deals with his life, and problems in it. Its quite funny but many might not get the jokes in the beginning as compared to the shows here it has quite a high standard. My personal favorite is the skinny Niles whose expression makes me more than the dialogues.

Cons: - the jokes may be hard to understand at first
Timings: somewhere around 9pm on Mondays on star world
7. Takeshie’s castle
Originally a Japanese show, Takeshi’s castle is a show with a wonderful concept. A group of 100 people lead by general Lee have to attack on Takeshi’s castle crossing all kinds of different and difficult obstacles. The ones who survive fight to the finish along with general Lee against the guards of the castle with laser guns. Is that cool or what!!!
But its funny basically because it is hosted by the gr8 Javed Jaffery and his commentary is quite hilarious.
Pros: -Javed jaffery

Cons: -some parts of the show have a bit too much Japanese

6. Pol khol
Pol khol, as the name suggest, is a show about what really our politicians and celebrities are up to hosted by the ever-funny shekhar suman. This show on star news is quite funny as shekhar tells what the gr8 netas are actually. Apart from that the show has also caught policeman napping during their night duties and government officials taking bribe. But the highlight of the show is without a doubt shekhar suman’s mimic of different politions like lallu and atal Bihari vajpayee.

Cons: -odd timings

5.Simpsons
The Simpsons is one of the funniest cartoons u will ever come across. In an recent study the people of England rated Simpsons as the best show taken from America leaving behind two times champion bay watch. The story is about the Simpson family consisting of dad-homer Simpson- the most idiotic person. Mom-Marge Simpson – the ever calm loving and caring mother who bares it all for her family. Son- aptly named Bart Samson (notice the similarity between Bart and brat!!) who is a real brat. Daughter- Lisa Simpson- little miss perfect. And baby daughter maggi.
Pros: - really funny sequences between father and son
-Mocking Celebes like sting, bill Clinton etc
Cons: - jokes can be a bit adult sometimes

4.The gr8 indian comedy show
how can u describe this show!! The name says it all . the show’s main aim is to make u laugh till death. The funny guy Sameer menon hosts show which mainly consists of gags and scoop of popular serials and movies. The best without doubt being the shows take on ekta kapoor’s serials. I haven’t got the opportunity to see the show regularly but have seen six to seven episodes.
Pros: - twist in the serials tales
Cons: - the channel star one is not available in all areas
Timings: - every Saturday at 9:00 or maybe 9:30 pm on star one
3.Whose line is it anyway?
Hosted by the famous Drew carry the show has a completely new concept. The show consists of four contestants who have to come and act on the stage based on the plot and suggestions given to them by the audience. It’s a complete extempore and that’s what makes it cool, funny and different. But in few of the rounds they have to make up songs sing them in a particular artists style and being a USA based show u don’t really understand whom they are copying. But everything is quite funny.
Pros: -new concept

Cons: -u don’t understand much in the “song styles” round.

2. Khichdi
Who doesn’t know about Khichdi? It’s been a hit ever since it was first aired on star plus. Though now it has shifted to star one its popularity still remains. People have loads of fun seeing the best pair after SRK and kajol- the ever stupid- praful and hansa. And how can one forget jayshree’s gossip, babuji’s anger or bawesh Kumar’s hunger!! All these make a really good viewing for us.
Pros: - Praful’s logic
Cons: - it only once a week
Timings: - every Tuesday 9 pm on star one
1. Friends
The n.o. One comedy show/serial according to me is, without a doubt, is Friends. Its longest running show in the history of television and that’s what makes it gr8.the jokes are genuine and really make u laugh. It is basically about a group of friends namely Monica, chandeler, Joey, Ross, Rachel and Phoebe.
Pros: -Natural acting by all
-Most jokes are easy to understand
-It’s on two channels
Cons: -The show deals with a lot issue, which are quite sensitive in India
Timings: -Every weekday at 7 pm on star world
-Every weekday at 10 pm on Zee Café (Zee English)
Other funny shows worth watching are Full house ( 6 pm weekdays), Hogan's family (6:30pm weekdays), Will and Grace and Caroline in the city on Zee Cafe; Mr bean (weekends 7 pm-not the animated one) and Just for laughs-gags (weekdays 11pm) on pogo; News radio (weekdays 7:30pm),King of queens (mondays 8pm), Still standing (mondays 8:30pm),Grounded for life (mondays 9pm),Everybody loves raymond on star world; Sarabhai vs Sarabhaiand The Gr8 Indian Laughter Challenge(fridays 10pm) on star one and Kareena Kareena (weekdays 9:30pm) on Zee network.
