This review of mine is my effort to recall some of best melodies of their time.The unforgetable duo"nadeem - shravan" who had in their time revolutioniged the hindi film music scenario.The nadeem- shravan duo had became unstoppable for the next ten years with many jewels @ their crown.
Selecting ten songs from those jwels is quiet a impossible task as they had given unlimited hits.even the period 1990 to 1999 was spectacular.as films after films this pair had given hindi music unforgetable songs. Iremember those glorious days from 90s wen this pair had given some of huge musical hits like aashiqui, sadak, deewaana, dilwaale, saathi, raja hindustaani, saajan, raja, nnnnnn many more like dhadkan, dosti, barshaat, bewaafa in recent times.

-in recent times this duo is not much active as both person lives in distant places n rumours of breakup.as shravan is said to be focused on his sons career as music directors

1.saanso ki jarurat hai jaise(aashiqui 1990)-who can forget this very title song from aashiqui this title song had two version in cassete one with kumar shanu voice n other in anuradha paudwal voice.t**the whole country in 1990 was in rage of this song n movie.this movie had given 3 superstars to bollywood.kumar shanu, sameer n offcorse nadeem sharavan.
all songs of this movie went on to became a hit.
2.mera dil bhi kitna paagal(saajan 1991)-this song is my favourate.the lyrics r smoothly penned down by sameer n explains the very feeling of uncertainty involved wid explaination n expressing love.
kumar sanu had along wid alka yagniq had beautifully sung this song.
stilll this song had same charm as it had years ago.
3.jeeta tha jiske liye(dilwaale 1993)-i remember this song has record of being most requested song on vivid bharti
.even the spoke person many times had expressed their sorry for poor sound or scratch in cd.
every marriage in north india had this song still today.kumar shanu had rendered this song with alka yagniq.This movie was largest selling music title in 1993.
4.ishq jab ek taraf(hungama 2002)-i did not know why this song was not played fully in hungama movie.although cd had two versions in voice of kumar shanu n jaspinder narula.
the lyrics r so meaning ful that r smoothly penned giving overall aspect n purpose of being two sided made for each other as well as irony involved wid one sided love.
this song can be more popular if it was shown fully in movie.
5.pardeshi pardeshi jaana nahin(raja hindustaani 1995)-all the above 4 songs had voices of nadeems shravans favourite kumar shanu.
infact critics of this duo argue that nadeems shravans songs r best suited to kumar shanu only.but I think its not a case as see this song along with major hits of this movie were sung by udit. raaz was another movie which dd not had song by kumar sanu. yet was a huge hit.
6.tere darr pe sanam hum chale aaye(phir teri kahani yaaad aayi 1994)-this song again was sung by this duo favourate kumar shanu n alka yaagniq.the wordings r smoothly penned by samir.once u hear the song u will notice the different mannerism by singers.this song was different from routine tone of shanu.
7.tumhe apana banane ki kasam khai hai(sadak 1991)-this song is still very popular .the mannerism of shanu is different .this movie had led to the popularity of sanjay dutt's hair craze.
pooja bhat was launched through this movie.rehne ko ghar nahin song from this movie is still used by politicians in elections.this song adfded to the popularity of this duo.
8.aapke pyar me(raaz 2002)-this song was massive hit in 2002.sung by abhijeet n alka yagniq.this song is pleasure to hear.every time I hear I feel the surge to hear it one more time.
9.aashiqui mein har aashiq(dil ka kya kasoor 1992)-this song had two version one in kumar shanu's voice n another in the voice of sadhna sargan(its a surprise y she had sung a few songs for this duo).picturised on divya bharti female version is my favourate.
I recalll the innocent mannerism of divya bharti.
10.ghunghat ki aad se(hum hai rahi pyar ke 1995)-this song is stilll very popular.the mannerism of aamir n juhi is memorable.shanu is accompanied by alka in this song .beautifully picturised in the beautiful locations of rajasthan.
still this songs n lyrics r my favourate.

plz dont think that song no 1 means my highest priority song.infact selecting just ten songs is really a difficult task.
its just a matter of striking that to mention this song or not.

nadeem shravan duo had given jhankar beat concept to bollywood.his apparent jhankar tyones r his trade mark indicators .
