Nadeem Saifi, a gentleman looking man and Shravan Rathod, brother of singers Vinod Rathod and Roop Kumar Rathod, these two men ruled the roost some years back till a controversy separated them by time zones.Its quite unbelievable that a musical man like Nadeem could be accused of something so grave.They work now as a long distance jodi amidst rumors of splits time and again…
1.They took the nation by storm by AASHIQUI’s music.in 1990, almost all the songs of this movie were deemed hits, my personal favorite, nazar ke samne jigar ke pas tum rehti ho…introduced Kumar Shanu to music scene.
2.Rabba ishq na hove …from ANDAAZ is also well composed.
3.Music of DHADKAN was also very good ….especially the song…tum dil ki dhadkan mein rehte ho…it looks like they are one step further of Anu Malik in giving hit romantic numbers.
4.Who can forget the title song of DIL HE KI MANTA NAHIN…dil he ki manta nahin, mushkil badi hai rasme mohabbat yeh janta hi nahin…they did not give only hit songs, every number is worth listening to in their hit movies, all songs of this movie were hits.
5.Goonghat ki aadh se …from HUM HAIN RAHI PYAR KE…it seems they mostly work with Kumar Shanu, every other song is sung by him…
6.KASOOR songs brought back the magic of Nadeem Shravan again after many years in 2001, zindagi ban gaye ho tum….was not only beautifully sung, but choreographed in a very natural manner…one of the very well made movie in recent times.
7.PARDES music, another feather in their cap…diwana dil…sung by Sonu Nigam was his first movie hit in which he was formally recognized as a good playback singer.
8.Aapke pyar mein hum sawarne lage…from RAAZ, one of my personal favorite…
9.Aaye ho meri zindagi mein tum bahar banke….from RAJA HINDUSTANI.sung by Alka Yagnik, another very good song.
10.Mera dil bhi kitna pagal hai, yeh pyar to tumse karta hai.par samne jab tum aati ho…kuch bhi kehne se darta hai…from SAAJAN is a very powerful song …sung by Kumar Shanu.I like this song very much.
I wish this pair goes on giving such good music…
