NADEEM SAIFI and SHRAVAN RATHORE - this duo is a benchmark of melodious, soul-touching, evergreen, and unmatched music in Bollywood. From AASHIQUI(1990) to DOSTI(2005), they have given countless evergreen chartbusters - way more than any other music director. AASHIQUI, SAAJAN, DIL HAI KE MANTA NAHIN, DEEWANA, SALAAMI, RAJA HINDUSTANI, PARDES, RAAZ, etc., are some of the rare movies of modern bollywood in which all songs are chartbusters. AASHIQUI remains the highest selling Bollywood film soundtrack of all times till date. The best part of their music is the composition of simple, evergreen, and soul-touching music without too much of sound engineering, which is done by most of the so called music composers of today, which surely enhances the sound quality but severely degrades the quality of music. However, NADEEM SHRAVAN's music is evergreen and will stay alive forever in the hearts of true music lovers.
Critics say that NS compose good music mainly with Kumar Sanu. However, starting from RAJA(1995) in which Kumar Sanu had sung no song - yet all songs were chart busters, they proved their supremacy with Udit, Abhijeet, and Sonu too. As far as female singers are concerned - everyone has sung her best with NS.
Critics have also accused NS of plagiarism from time to time. I do agree that they have copied music a few times, but the so called music directors of today - they are worse than horrible. Except a few, almost all chartbusters of NS are their original scores. Moreover, no one can alter this universal truth that NS are the greatest music directors of modern bollywood and one of the greatest of all times.
This review topic requires the selection of only10 best songs composed by NS,which is an extremely difficult task. I think selecting 100 could have been a bit easier. In many of their albums, all songs have turned out to be evergreen chartbusters, and that is what makes this task really arduous. For me, it is next to impossible to select only 10 best songs. Still, I have tried my level best to select 20.
However, I honestly believe that songs composed by NS are beyond any rating or comparison.

There are way more evergreen, melodious, and heart-felt songs composed by NS than just these 20. This is an extremely small fraction of NS's exceptional, unmatched brilliance. They are unbeatable and irreplaceable- even an Oscar winning music director is no match for them.
