Review:

1. Age of Empires 2 This game is on everyone's list, it has to be, you can play this game for hours together without getting bored. The graphics were also good(at that time), and the online component is the real fun part. even today thousands of players can be found on Zone.com playing it.

2. Mafia An exceptional action game, tremendous graphics, superb Music and sound. It depicts New York city of the 1930's and does it succeed? Every action scene seems to be just out of a movie, totally lifelike, especially the Hotel rooftop scene(just before the church scene).

3. Need for Speed 2 What a game this, I played this game till the CD refused to work! I could still play this game for hours on end, it was this good, the races were just fantastic, the computer opponents giving just the right competition.

4. Call of Duty Again a superb action game. What is truly great about this game is that it makes complete mockery of other single person shooters. It depicts a lifelike WW2 environment, and the fun part is fighting alongside a platoon against numerous opponents, which are smart(take cover etc), after playing this game I wished all games were squad games.

5. Roller Coaster Tycoon A real fun strategy games, make your own rides, tweak them, manage every aspect of your park, man you could lay this game forever. Unfortunately RCT2 was a big disappointment.

6. Rise of Nations This game is again a truly amazing RTS game, introucing a new concept of National Borders in RTS games like in turn based game Civilization 3. The economics model of this game is like a frsh air, and fighting more than just making hordes of units on one type and sending them into battle.

7. Diablo2 what a eerie environment truly, although Diablo was more scary. Still it is one of the few Role Playing games that I have played but a real good one even with the outdated graphics.

  1. Grand Theft Auto 1, 3 and Vice CityActually these are three different games but all are equally amazing. GTA was a cult classic, inspite of the pathetic 2D graphics it was plain fun to play, stealing cars and mowing down people. GTA 3 was a totally new game and if anything remained the same was the concept of stealing cars and mowing down people. One great thing about GTA3 and Vice City was that it was not linear gameplay, a first in Action games, thus it gave unlimited replay value to it, also both the games were huge, getting 100% was the real challenge.

  2. Warcraft 3 A colourful RTS game in the footsteps of the classic Warcraft. W3 is a Hard game, very hard for newcomers to newbies but the eye candy is beautiful, it introduced a concept of Upkeep, thus keeping Army size to small, but advocating a lean and mean force, each unit had a special power, and if made the right use would lead you to victory. The single player campaign was also very good.

10 Command and Conquer:Red AlertHow can I finish without this game, a truly hilarious game a no frills game just collect metal and build your army, it featured all the moden age weapons even nuclear missiles! and was just plain fun to play.
