Amitabh Bachchan is the only person on the planet to have being born with GOD's WISH. Just look back at his personal and professional life. All have ups and downs in their life, many have rags to riches story but only blessed ones have rags to rich and then to rags back and againto rich in very short span. Now what do one call this lucky person. Well lets talk about his moveis and his professional carrer. My top 10 for Mr. Bachchan is as under with reasons
Khakhee : As an old man he fights the system remaining within the system and helps to motivate young members who might have lost their way. all and all well acted and suiting the age perfectly. Here Mr. Bachchan is like father figure shielding and guiding the young ones. Must see for all fans and also who are not his fans
Baghban : Movie which is very close to real life and newpapers event. Mr. Bachchan teams with Ms. Hema Malini, both have acted before in four good movies - Trishul, Kasauti, Satte pe satta and Nastik. Both are famed actors and their pair sizzles on screen. Here again very restrained performance from MR. Bachchan. How he chooses his path in midst of all problems. Another Must see for all.
Trishul : This is the movie which shows great acting skills of Mr. Bachchan and late Sanjeev Kumar. This was the zara hat ke movie from Yash Chopra whom we all know for soft and silky lovable movies. This was one solid performance from Mr. Bachchan. Though this was a multi starrer but Mr. Bachchan towers on all. One of the good movies and with gripping story line to say so.
HUM : This was the so -called comeback movie again a sort of multi starrer with Govinda and Rajnikant but when you see all of them togeather on screen. Mr. Bachchan stands out like Taj mahal whereas other looks like the surrounding minarets. This movie was hit for Mr. Bachchan only orelse the movie would have fallen flat.
Amar Akbar Anthony : This is symbolic movie of what Mr. Bachhan and late Mr. Manmohan desai could do jointly. Both of them made audience believe everything. They were so cute and funny that people followed them like a pied piper. They have given innumerbable hits and no one can say the movies were hit due to actor or the director. Both were made for eachother and Mr. Bachchan could carryout any thing what Mr. Desai could think off. One has to see this movies and others from this pair. Truely Mr. Bachchan and Mr. Desai would be nothing without eachother.
Sharabi / Mard : This movies are again combo of Mr. Bachchan and Mr Prakash Mehra. Mr. mehra was second Mr. desai in Mr. Bachchan's carrer. Here Mr. Mehra could make MR. Bahchan do anything and everything without making anyone think. This movies are the genree of that era. This sort of movies were conceved and made only for Mr. Bachchan. If anyone else would have acted I am sure the movie would have not run for 25 days forget the movies have run for silver and golden jubliees.
Mili : Initial phase of his carrer was greatly boosted by Hrisida. He should be considered honoured to have work in his movies. This movies showed and exposed the serious side of MR. bachchan and to an extent his acting poweress. He was restrained best and still lovable.
Do Anjanee : I know people woiuld say which is this movie. Well this is one of his not so hit and popular movie but was certianly well acted. Teamed with Rekha and Prem Chopra this was sweet little revenge movie. I can assure this would not bore anyone.
Don : Again movie which was only hit due to Mr. Bachchan. Seen to be believed what charisma this men had and what captivity he held over his fans and audience. He made all think what he did is normal and humane. Just watch this movie
Sholay : I know many say this movie belonged to Amjad Khan or sanjeev Kumar or Dharmendra. Hey but there was Mr. Bachchan in one of the best role. A friend, a silent lover and a die hard handy man. This is one movie which I would go miles to watch on screen even today. Must for all.
I know many would not agree with my choices but we are talking about legend and icon who can not be bound by 10 movies. But I am confident above 10 movies of MR. Amitabh Bachchan brings out a better actor of him.
