1. Khalnayak- my favorite film of all time Madhuri, sanju, what to say, good songs the story is like this a criminal sanjay dutt is arrested by jackie shroff, but runs away by killing dozens of police officers, madhuri is also a cop and she goes after sanjay dutt to arrest him. Sanjay dutt does a great job as usual playing the bad guy, this movie is really entertaining to me, subash ghai's best movie.
satya- Guess who came with bang in the industry bhiku matre played by manoj bajpaye, one of the best debuts ever in the industry this guy deserves some kind of a national award, which he never got, I can't get out my head when he says mumbai ka bhai bhiku matree, he is a natural actor. Ramgopal varmas best movie.
Lamhe- A great movie with anil kapoor sridevi, anupam kher, The movie floped due to the ending if the ending was different maybe it would have been a hit who knows, but anil kapoor gives his best performance in this movie, he even cuts of his mustache and looks funny. Sridevi gives her best performance, simply loved her in this role.
Sholay- All time great movie everyone was great amitabh as jai, dharmendra as veeru, hema malini as basanti, even today the likes of surma bhopali, asrani as the english jailor and the mausi is remembered. Sanjeev kumar as thakur is great as well, the person who stole the show was gabbar singh amjad khan, dialogues like kitney aadmi they, bahut yaarana lagta hai, still stuck in my head.
Ghulam-e-mustafa- nana patekar gives his best performance in this movie, he natural at playing these kind of roles, I think he's one the underrated actor, why doesn't he do more movies, I watched this movie too many times and nana is just mind blowing in this movie. Paresh rawal, raveena tandon, aruna irani all act well.
Pardes- Although I am not a big shahrukh khan fan pardes is one of my favorite movies, I love simply the ending where srk, is beaten up and gives a long speech, and the movie was well made subhash ghai. one of the best albums ever is pardes for music as well.
Motherindia- starring nargis, sunil dutt, rajendra kumar, raajkumar. a movie about a mother who has to go through a lot in her life, loses her husband, then two sons are only thing she has left, and in the end she has to kill one of them for some reason. Sunil dutt gives a powerful and his best performance and so does nargis, simply mindblowing movie.
Naya zamana- starring the handsome dharmendra, the movie is about poor and rich, dharmendra gives probably his best performance, hema malini looks pretty as always and aruna irani gives a commendable performance, notable scene is where aruna irani who plays dharmendra's sister in the movie is humiliated in a party because she isn't as rich as somepeople in the party. Mehmood also is able to deliver some comedy.
Ardh satya- anyone ever watched this movie, starring om puri my favorite actor in this film, om puri is a young man caught between his sense of duty . sadashiv amparvkar plays a villain and gives a nice performance so does samita patil and amrish puri. Om puri's best movie and best performance. Noone is a match to om puri he's the best an all rounder.
10. Parinda- at last parinda, starring jackie shroff, anil kapoor and nana patekar, a movie about jackie shroff who is a big time hustler and works for anna played by nana patekar, due to some circumstance, anil kapoor jackie shroff's brother in the movie has to join the underworld as well to kill his best friend killers. nana patekar as anna gives a great performance. Jackie shroff gets his first award here in this one and anil kapoor and madhuri also do their part well, but whole movies is based on nana patekar and jackie shroff.
There are lot other movies.
