Zuludas Chowdhary belonged to a very rich family in Kolkata. The forefathers of Zulu's khandan were rich zamindars and were carrying the rich ancestral wealth and pride with devotion and dignity.
Zulu while wandering on the streets of Kolkata spotted Sushmita one day while sushmita was filling water from the Ganges near Hawrah Bridge. The love at first sight took place. Zulu, an ardent admirer of Pankaj Udhas remembered this ghazal
Chupke chupke, sakhiyon se woh baaten karna bhool gayi
Muzke dekha panghat pe to pani bharna bhool gayi
The love at first sight was purely based on gorgeous looks of Sushmita and grace of Zuludas. Zulu obviously proud of his love was ga-ga over Sushmita's looks, beauty and aura. Needless to say, the Metro-rail at Kolkata was singing this song for Devdas priasing Sushmita's awesome charm .

But Kismat ko ye majoor na tha and Zuludas went to Kellog's for his MBA! Sushmita a shy girl was down to tears and Zulu was also in same state. While he was studying Leadership Qualities for 2010 in Radical World Environment, his heart was flying to Kolkata. A major wave of depression passed Zulu when he heard

Another song almost brought Zulu to heavy tears .

Because of unforseen circumstances Zulu came back leaving his Kellog's in limbo! But again, milan of Sush and Zulu was not manjoor to fate. The family pressure finally made Sushmita and Zuludas part their ways.Light hearted Zulu was pacified by his friend Chunni.
Chunni, a rangeela man by nature instantly made zuludas to sink his heart into rum bottle at Chandni Bar!

Zuludas met Moonmoon at Chandani Bar and sharab aur shabab ne Zuludas par itna asar kiya ke pucho mat . Moonmoon or Chandni Bar.the choice was perplexing .
Teri nigah se aisi sharab pi maine ke fir na hosh ka dawa kiya kabhi maine, wo aur honge jinhe maut aa gayi hogi nigahen yarse payi hai jindagi maine.

The days passed further and zuludas became addicted to gam ka sathi rum!

While Sushmita got married to an old stinkingly rich guy.but still couldn't stop thinking of Zuludas.
Zuludas was disowned by family. Sushmita couldn't meet him and moonmoon, the new-age bar dancer dumped him as soon as his money evaporated.
