Hiya folks,
Am back again, let me tell you, this place is like cocaine, drags you back to it again and again. Anyways, these are my 10 fav not in any particular order, but the must see of English Movieland
Psycho - (Black n White version) - A gripping movie, u all might know the story, so I will not elaborate, chilling shadow effects by Hitchcock and edge of the seat suspense, a great thriller
Gone With the Wind - viven Leigh and Clark Gable (boy doesnt he look adorable) in this mega classic of American civil war. A must see movie for all romantic as well as non - romantic buffs
Guns of Naverone - Gregory Peck aka Dev Anand, Anthony Quinn and David Niven in this Alistar Mclean thriller on the second world war. Great story line and power
Those Magnificient Men in their Flying Machine - An old age slapstick comedy about a bunch of men, racing in their old fashioned planes from England to France and the effects of racing sports. Lots of laughter , must see for everyone
The Silent Movie - Mel Brooks with the Abraham Brothers as directors in this no dialouge film, you would never notice the absence of the dialouge, the movie is about a director and his friends trying to save their studio from the competition aptly named Engulf & Devour!!!
Ben Hur - Charriot race, charriot race all the way, am still trying to find the red ferrari zipping across the road outside the amphitheatre, if anyone of you have noticed tell me which part to look at. This is one of the best movies about ancient folklore
BladeRunner - Harisson Ford in this absolute thriller of a science fiction movie, beats everything else in its category hands down
Godfather - Mafia, Marl'n Brando at his best in dialouge delivery, who could beat FFC (Francis ford copolla) in this thriller
Casablanca - An interesting love story set in the Maltese area during the worldwar, starring Humphrey Boggart with his famous line ''Here's looking to you kid'', this line is the second most popular line in English movies, the first, yes you guessed it, ''My name is Bond, James Bond''
Star Wars - How can I forget that, a money grosser on a grand scale, George Lucas did it with a great cast and crew.
See all these movies in big screen, u will never forget the experience
I have left many movies out, just that these are my all time favs
cheers
