The most important thing in reading is that it should capture your mind and imagination, till u finish a book and complete it.or even after completing it the memory should linger on.
According to me to acheive this it requires good quality writing.

( no one can match him in humor-clean and imaginative )

( fletch series is absolultey hialrious )

( harry potter series-great work and attention to details keeps you capticated )

( master of story telling-most modernd day story teller , i think are influenced by this great author, specially for short stories )
5.Arthur Conan Doyle
( detective story telling master -sherlock holmes is a legend )
6.Agastha Christie
( creator of herecule poirot and maple, great writing and ideas )
7.Edgar Wallace
( great story telling , with a hnt of humor and ingenuity )
8.Arthur Hailey
( his works is full of details about various fields )
9.Colin Dexter
( british author-inspector morse is very captivating )
10.Satyajit Ray
( yes, his feluda series is very good, read it to believe it )
