Went to Teknik Motors, Sarjapur end of May 2013 to book a bull since I had bought an RE 12 years back from Anand, the showroom owner. Took test rides and figured out that Electra was what I wanted. Traditional orthodox bullet look and slightly taller seat that suited my long legs.
I was told it would take 6-8 months to get the bike. I was also told very promptly that the cancellation would cost me 500/=.
To my surprise, got a call from Teknik end of October that my bike would come this month. I could not believe it, in less than 5 months!
Got the delivery promptly before Diwali from the showroom. All the staff, specially Mr, Chandra Bhushan, was very friendly and courteous. Though bot very organized, the Teknik team was very accomodating to all my requests.
Diwakar, their technical expert was prompt in taking me through the basics of driving this new engine before I took it off. The session was for 15 min, but very professionally handled.
