THE MOVIE IS GOOD. Review on Tehzeeb

Tehzeeb is the latest release directed by khaled mohammad. The cast include big names like Shabana Azmi, Arjun Rampal, Urmila Matondkar, Diya Mirza and the Guest apperance by Rishi Kapoor.

So is Tehzeeb a big hit?

Is Khaled Mohammed direction good?

Did Shabana-Urmila combination work?

So the answer, Tehzeeb could not be a big hit but could be watch for good acting by the entire and Shabana-Urmila track is brilliantly made.

Khaled Mohamed direction is average to aboe average in the entire movie but he brilliantly handle the scene between Shabana and Urmila.

Very much! This combination of Shabana-Urmila is great and outstanding.

Tehzeeb [Urmila Matondkar] has nursed a grudge against her mother Rukhsana [Shabana Azmi] since her childhood.

Rukhsana, a playback singer, is a celebrity in her own right. Tehzeeb suspects her to be the cause of the sudden death of her father, Anwar [Rishi Kapoor]. Rukhsana was even tried in court for murder, but was declared not guilty.

Much against her mother's wishes, Tehzeeb marries a writer, Salim [Arjun Rampal], and settles down with him at a hill station far away from the city. Tehzeeb's mentally challenged younger sister Nazneen [Dia Mirza] also lives with them. Rukhsana decides to visit her daughter and son-in-law for a few days. Everything goes fine initially, but the tension between them resurfaces eventually.

The story line is intresting but the it doesnt look original. This type of story have been seen before in many movies. The screenplay has many loopholes but the direction was better and the scence between Arjun,Urmila and Shabana was handle brilliantly but the screenplay need some triming.

Dialoques(Javed Siddiqui) were nice and realistic. Cinmatrography(Santosh Sivan's) was outstanding. Chreography(Farha Khan) was brilliant.

The A.R. rehman track average to good. The songs which stand out are Khoey Khoey and Mehrbaan but the rest of the track didnt click much.

The movie completely belongs to Shabana Azmi and Urmila Matondkar. Shabana after a long time in back on the big screen and had acted brilliantly throughtout the movie. Urmila did his part with brilliance and she was outstanding in seen with shabana Azmi. Arjun Rampal was very good in his role. Diya Mirza did her mentally challeged girl role brilliantly. The rest of the cast was ok.

So over all the movie was good and could be watch atleast ones because of Urmilla and Shabana beautiful acting.
