Tech Mahindra is re-branded and the scheme of things are like this.
# The middle management is very powerful(team managers and above)
# Salaries to the middle management is probably the best in standards(manager and above)
# Very bad for freshers and working level associates(called U band in Tech Mahindra).
# I served 5 years 8 months in this company and total increment over five years adds up to Rs. 72, 000/- . However, after resigning and joining new company I got 1, 80, 000 hike.U band(typically 0-8 years experience) is very badly paid and normally 30 percent less than competition
#. Lot of regional feelings is present, it is people issue.One regional group targets another group in one team and vice versa in another team.
# Company wide feeling is leadership is not transparent in many employee related policies.
# Recently, the top management was saying to employees that 65 percent of revenue is given as salaries compared to TCS which is 55 percent, this is blatant lie by top management. At the most, the company is paying minimum 10 percent less than peers(out of revenue)
VERY IMPORTANT
# The U band. the soldiers are the victims and sacrificial goats, they are tracked like slaves, some associates have left fighting on attendance issues like salary(LOSS OF PAY) cut for 20 minutes shortage(that too for people who are on bench and without work).
# Bench strength is lowest, but still they treat bench associates badly and throw them on some pretext. Normally the manager will become rude and behave differently making you leave the company.
# Once a project is closed or you are made to go on bench, things change very drastically, however if there is some opportunity, they again change their colors.
# I hardly spent 23 days on bench and I could not tolerate in the company, I made calculation that I have earned Rs. 1, 46 crores for the company and they gave me 22 lakhs out of my earning as SALARY and within 23 days they all forgot my contribution(Rs. 1.24 crores of my money)
NO TRAINING, NO-RESKILLING, NO ALTERNATIVE, on bench it's like HELL
Literally abused by my reporting manager for 20 minutes late to company and his attitude was totally opposite when I was earning DOLLARS for the company.
COMPANY HAS RIGHT ATTITUDE AS FAR AS DOLLARS ARE EARNED, ELSE YOU ARE TREATED LIKE DOG!
SO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE EARNING DOLLARS IN THIS COMPANY AND FEED THE MANAGEMENT, ONCE IT ENDS THEY WILL THROW YOU LIKE SUGAR CANE HUSK AFTER EXTRACTING JUICE.
PEOPLE WITH 2-8 years experience and associates falling under U band be prepared for the UNEXPECTED by this Rxxxxx company
