They have the best content amongst all automotive sites, and that content has been put together by India's top enthusiasts and experts from the automotive world.
The site is completely unbiased, and most discussions are held very professionally.
The Moderation of the Site, is exceptional, with no discussion allowed to stray off-topic, no profanities allowed, no personal comments allowed, incorrect or inappropriate information corrected, and no plagiarism policy etc.
The content is very well researched and compiled after thousands of kilometers of testing.
A lot of India's top automobile manufacturers are now working with Team-BHP Folks to improve and tailor their products.
A somewhat strict membership policy that allows Team-BHP to retain it's quality content and mature forum.
In view of the above:
a) A lot of people do not taken in as members, when it is obvious that their knowledge and experience would not add value to the site. They do have Read Access though, so that they can still learn.
b) A lot of sites try to steal content hosted on Team-BHP.
c) A lot of people who have been rejected for their membership, end up bad-mouthing the site. A case of - Sour Grapes!
I am personally, a member of Team-BHP for the last 3 years, and it took me 2 earlier years and 3 membership applications, before I was accepted. If I look back, I was also very disappointed back then. But, when I compare what I wrote in my first application, to that in my last application, I could see a big change in my perspectives and maturity level w.r.t Automobiles and the industry. That change happened due to, to a very large extent, Team-BHP. Since the time I have been inside, I have always learnt something new, and have had the privilege of becoming aquainted with experts and enthusiasts - people I would have never been able to meet otherwise!
