I was a member with the Team Bhp forum but to be honest, right from registration to posting everything is really confined. The members over there are bound with "protocols" but moderators themselves void those. Team Bhp has rules about not mentioning the alcohol and smoking where as in their old threads there are pics of moderators violating the same. Team Bhp is foremost a true biased forum. The head of forum GTO is biased towards his friends. Majority of members try to be in his good books and there is this "aura" about GTO, which is nothing but all false.
Team Bhp is not the right place for expressing automotive enthusiasm. Their protocols kill the enthusiasm. The reason why they are concerned for their protocols is that they are more concerned about their image with automotive brands and not with their enthusiasts/members. Some old members feel that no one is as informed as all of them are. Honestly, many other automotive boards are far considerate and give ample freedom to express which is sorely missed in Team Bhp.
They begun 11 years back, but now scenarios have changed. There are many more competitive and informative boards who can show team-bhp stars in broad daylight. They feel they are leaders but honestly, the entire bunch of 15-16 odd moderators are nothing but simply GTO's side-kicks. They are having a huge member base but out of that, not many are really contributing.
International automotive brands who are bashed for their services on that forum, showed Team BHP, that things change fast and for the better by inviting them to their launch in home country.
Those who wish to join Team Bhp, may do so at own risk. Do consider other automotive boards prior to sign up. In today's time, this Team Bhp forum has nothing exclusive to offer.
