We keep both teas and coffees in our stock. But, we are aware of'residue' stains left behind in a tea cup. Tea seems to'influence'{if you will} a person's bladder more than coffee. Too much of any good thing, can be bad for you. Just consider a few hot facts on these two. It is the tea leaf that stains.but isn't harmful in moderate levels of ingestion.
COFFEE:
Coffees are more digestable. And there is fact that coffee is good in helping a slow circulation system. It is the caffeine, but none the less, speeds circulation. And once you have had enough, drink decaf. Great coffee'taste' without the zip.
TEA:
Tea is a natural leaf. But'herbal teas' are NOT tea. They are a combination of herbs and spices. Caffeine tea has LESS caffeine than coffee. Green teas have vitamins and minerals. That is WHY'green teas' are good for you.
SOME CAFFEINE and DECAF TIPS:
~Decaf tea STILL has about 3% caffeine intact.
~Caffeine'teas and coffees' vary as far as which type is brewed.
~Caffeine coffee does NOT sober up a person. It simply makes a more alert'drunk'.
~Caffeine is not harmful to children. They tolerate it just as an adult. But keep in mind, to much causes hyper results.
~Caffeine is NOT addictive in the'levels' that drugs are. And when you have had enough, you don't want more.
~Pregnant ladies can drink caffeine teas or coffees safely. They can ingest 300 miligrams a day.
~The longer you brew or steep decaf tea, the more percentage of caffeine will linger.
~Stronger coffee has more caffeine than medium brewed.
MY CHOICES:
Once in a blue moon, I drink tea. But how often do we have a blue moon, I ask you? I am a COFFEE person. Not the fancy exotic ones, but the pure coffee. My husband is 1/2 and 1/2. He enjoys coffee in the morning and evening, but likes a cup of tea in the afternoon. HMMMMMMM. Maybe he has royal blood, lol.
Caffeine and diabetics:
If you do not have high blood pressure and are in control, some caffeine in coffee and tea can help circulation. This is NOT my advice. This was advice from a doctor to my'diabetic' husband.
SO, enjoy your tea or coffee. Drink it moderately and don't worry. And don't let one company put fear into you so that you buy their brand. Just enjoy.
