What's a Cappuccino??

Espressos and Cappuccinos and Lattes, these days they are found to be everywhere but what exactly are these and how are they done.

Espresso is just a shot of strong coffee made from espresso beans, the shot can be of very limited quantity without sugar, if you need sugar you request for sugar to be added with the shot. You could get as many shots of espresso as you like provided you like the first one you ordered cuz it's bitter and strrong.

Cappuccino is something that has a shot of expresso and lots of milk in it. The shots of espressos vary according to the size of the cup you order. After the expresso shot is filled in the cup, then the milk is steamed and then added leaving the froth at the top. About 1/3 of the cappuccino cup is filled with froth. So if you have ordered a cappuccino and haven't sipped for a while then your cup will only be filled upto 2/3rds! Some people like their cappuccinos flavored with mocha or caramel or some other kind of flavour. These flavours are sweetened so there's no need to add extra sugar.

As for Lattes they have the same amount of espressso but there's more milk than the cappuccinos, so when the milk is steamed you don't get the same amount of froth as you do in a cappuccino. Ideally when you order a cappuccino or a latte at one of those Coffee stores, it takes atleast sometime cuz the milk steaming takes about a minute and it's fresh. If its given right away, then it may not be prepared then and there. Lattes are also available cold and known as Iced lattes. If they are cold it doesn't make a difference if it's a latte or a cappuccino cuz the amount of milk added is the same.

Hope you enjoyed reading this. I drink both tea and coffee but given a choice between the two, coffee is stronger and tea is kinda light.
