I filed my returns through Taxsmile for AY 2008 2009 and I shall not be filling with them again. I was to get a refund of a sizeable amount. The filing part was smooth but tracing the refund is impossible.
Th income Tax helpdesk numbers have no records showing up for my pan number! Imaging my surprise at that. I have a copy of the ITR-V. They said I should visit the IT office. Why allow people to file online when they have to visit the IT office?? At the time of filing I had the Branch Manager's number (Gurgaon).
Now their branch manager at has changed. I have no way of tracing my refund. Who is responsible for making sure I get my return? No sense of responsibility in these guys, no follow through. Stay away from TAXSMILE. If someone has a number for the Gurgaon cell please post it. I Would be really very grateful.
