I had booked a taxi on mobile app of TaxiForSure on 25th Feb 2016 for 5:30 AM to go to New Delhi Railway Station. We had to catch a TRAIN. Their driver called me on my mobile at 4:30 or so to ask for directions to my home for pick up. When I gave him the address, he said OK and hung up. Immediately after, I got a call back, with automated system announcement that my booking is CANCELLED! I called back the same chap and he said he cannot come "because it is too far for him"!
In my entire life I've never experienced anything like this.
Soon after this exchange, I received another SMS that a new driver has been assigned, with his mobile number. I called that number; again the chap said he is too far away and therefore unable to come!
WHAT IS ALL THIS?
How were we supposed to deal with this arbitrary cancellation of our ride? We had a train to catch, and New Delhi Railway Station is quite far from Gurgaon.
IS THIS PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOUR?
I AM SHOCKED.
SHAME ON TAXI FOR SURE.
