Traveled from Thane to Sion with taxi for sure and was pleasantly surprised. Great cabs with cost almost Rs.200 less than what I bore with Meru / tab cab. I understand that this could be marketing strategy. I had been charged more by meru and charged doubly by taxi for sure(paid the driver cash+ the same amount got deducted from my e-wallet) but I have today got call from taxi for sure team requesting for bank details for having account credit for double charge.
There are teething issue with meters but you can have a tab by checking fare per km and calculating it manually to confirm the amount charged. hatchback car would cost you 12 per KM(Rs.15/KM for sedan)whereas it is 20 for MERU.
THis could be limited time offer but you could get class service and take an informed decision. Thanks Taxi for sure:)
