Life is a journey - we all will pass anyway. It makes sense to have fun along the way. Some carry life's burden day in and day out while some enjoy the ride, every moment.
The non-starry starcast (if you may) of John, Sameera, Nana and Sonali manage to relieve the weekend movie goer of his day-to-day concerns and worries. Humour comes across naturally and there is good performance put in by everyone.
Nana is the man who wears his heart on his sleeve and doesn't take any insult lying down. Expectedly he has to go through many job changes (23 jobs in 15 years). His latest means of livelihood is taxi driving.
The story is mainly about how Nana and John accidently bump into each other and how their behavioural hazards land them both and their families into trouble.
A word of praise should also go to the scriptwriter and screenplay team. The twists and turns are really good and at times unpredictable.
Nana's performance is too good and though the movie depicts reality in a lighter vein, there is a lot to pick in terms of philosophy of those who are not sure whether they will have the next meal or not.
Essentially Mumbaic, the movie also shows the divide between the working and the irking (if you may) class.
The 2.5 hour movie is wrapped with moments of fun, agony, irony, philosophy and simplicity
