I am writing this review about a company which destroyed people's lives like mine and many of my friends who used to work here! I do not wish the same fate to come to someone else.
I am surprised by the number of recent reviews this company has got, the ones they put right now, if you can note, if people have sense, all these reviews are written in a span of 3 days! Can you just see how desperate they are?Anyone can understand that these HR people, or people recruited by this nonsense CEO, Mr. Ramanjeet Singh, have no other job, than putting the so called 'positive' reviews when people search the site!
Mr Singh, understand something, kids and engineers of today are not stupid to fall for stupid tactics like this! That if you keep filling positive reviews by dogs recruited by you, people do not read the truth about your so called company!
I had to write something, because I didn't want people to be fooled by this company, who makes a joke about aerospace! Aerospace requires quality and commitment, and these two things are completely lacking in this firm!
I myself have witnessed classic funny acts by the company, when a customer visits or a prospective employee visits the firm...They switch on machines which they dont do any work on, put their high end LCD TV's on just to attract people! But at the end of it all, they have nothing to fall back on...
Please do not join this company! It's a joke about aerospace!HR people have nothing, I hope clever people can understand that they have jobs on writing reviews about their nonsense company, because I am sure people are being careful when they join this company!
- Working hours
From 7am- 10pm (which can go upto 12am)
- Distance from Chandigarh
2 hours to commute (Both ways), so essentially to reach at 7am, you need to get up at 4am to catch the bus at 6am, and you get sleep for hardly 3-4 hours. Is that work or a slave shop??
- Job Security
I myself have witnessed people being fired without a warning, money which should be given (in case of no notice). Absolutely no values, no morals, and nothing to their words!
- Hiring procedure
They may butter you with many claims and many monetary benefits verbally and through talk. But none of this comes true, unless and until you ask them in writing. I have had friends who were promised huge salaries, but when it came down to getting that amount, they blamed it on the recession!
So ask everything in writing, otherwise in this world, you get nothing verbally!I had the luck of asking my salary quote with the authorized signatory, so I wasn't cheated in that manner. They even gave that, with a lot of fuss!!
Their HR's are so bloody unqualified, that they send salary quotes in programs which can be edited..not even by hard copy, like usually companies do. Can't you see now, the loopholes in this company? It's a complete scam!
- Management
These are the worst people you can ever come in touch with. They have no respect for their employees, no respect for what you speak, and no matter will be discussed with you when they take a decision. Ramanjeet is an eccentric fellow with a lot of bookish knowledge (I'll give him that!), but when it comes to core manufacturing of components, he draws a complete blank!
He speaks of great things, but nothing comes to the picture! He is a business man in all its senses, he rips people off, and he will do anything for his profits! He blames people's salaries on recession, but he walks around in the BMW, which is purchased with the company's money. How do you explain that?
His wife, Tanveer Kaur, is another character, she acted as the HR to some of my friends, and wouldnt reply to a proper email.They talk very sweetly to you, but understand this golden rule, If something sounds too good to be true, it PROBABLY IS!So are the words from their HR, like Yukti, Tanveer, they disappear from the picture once you are hired.
- Mentors
There is no one to guide you, just some nuts and retired government officials from HAL who just know how to sit there, and dictate things to you, and know nothing about manufacturing. Believe me, they are over 60 and have no desire to accomplish anything, but at the beginning of the month, they get fat pay cheques mounting to over a lakh.
Ramanjeet insults them to the core in meetings, and they sit there like puppies, just because of the cash coming into their bank accounts every month.
No one opens their mouth in front of Ramanjeet, because he thinks only he knows something...and if someone does speak up, they are in his bad books! So can you understand what an autonomy this is?
This is a company which sees its employees not as assets but as asses!
- Notice Period
I have heard from my friends, that this company is putting outrageous notice periods for people wanting to resign. In normal companies, it is 1 month notice, but here it is 3 months! And they don't pay you during that notice period! I fought for my pay, and so they had to pay me, to get rid of me..
- Mobile Phones
You are not allowed to bring your mobile phones inside the plant, but leave it at the security. I understand that phones shouldnt be taken inside the plant, but inside the office? Nonsense!
The administration's job is to see if employees get out and make an urgent call home, or anything...Can you imagine, if you have an ailing parent or a spouse back home, you cannot even get them on the phone line! It's like you are locked up for 16 hours in a day!
They know that once people get in, by the atmosphere of the place, anyone would want to get out! Interviews are now usually got first through mobile phones, and Mr. Singh knows that well...so with this tactic, he tries to stop people. Sir, if anyone wants to leave, they will leave eventually, how much ever you hold them back.
I hope this will discourage people from joining this place.Please understand that, positive reviews being put by people in just a span of 3 days itself evokes suspicion that not an employee would do this, but the so called HR to just boost the company's image, so please don't get fooled.
I am an ex employee of this company, that's why I have first hand knowledge of what this company actually is. By God's grace, I have entered a company which is superb in its standing with both the customers as well as its employees.
Please research the company well before joining, Taurus is not a company to be joined...please do not waste your time and your career on such a disaster.Because once you join, there will be no one to guide you from that pit, and warn you, "I told you so".So make the right choice for your career, and do the right thing. Reviews written in the beginning is the truth.
They have had a threat because of this negative reviews coming in, and so they are trying to bost their image.
