I purchased a laptop from tatacliq and it had a dead battery on arival. When i contacted customer care. They did not call me back and all I got was an automated message each time till 7 days after the product had been received. They asked me to go to Asus service centre and get a certificate from them claiming that the battery was dead on arrival. Imagine. The laptop is brand new and I already have to take it to a service centre before being able to return it. I still bit my disappointment and went to the service centre where i was informed that since it is past 7 days from when the product was “shipped” I cannot be issued that certificate! And the only option is change the battery! Brand new laptop and all this happened because Tatacliq refused to accept or return the calls even though I had placed a return request on the app the very next day after receiving the product. And now I was stuck with a laptop with a dead battery which requires replacement.
Tatacliq is the worst app ever! Specially for electronics and appliances. Anyone trying to order from tatacliq should be warned that there is a 99% chance they will not help you at all if the product has a problem.
