We have always had a Maruti car in the family but this is the first time we decided to go for a Tata. The confusion was between a Ritz and the Tiago but we finally went for the Tiago diesel in August 2016. I have driven the car for 3, 500 km till now and very happy with the decision. Although my driving is less, the fuel economy is really saving me a lot of money. In Bangalore I get 20-21kmpl easily with ac running. I think the Tiago beats all other cars when it comes to value for money. This car has changed Tata's future in India. You can go for this car.
