Friends my office is in area where drinking water is an issue. UV electrical water filters were out of question as there is load shedding in my area. I needed a water filter which is portable, has no running cost and removers contamination from tap water.
I opted for Tata Swach has due brand name Tata and its cost. I bought for Rs999 last month. In our office we all are drinking filtered water from it and till date no one has fallen ill. Its a good product. The only issue is with the tap which is delicate. It would have been better if it was screw mechanism tap for heavy usage.The candle has to be replaced every 6 months and costs Rs300. Its cheap compared to servicing costs of UV filters.
I recommend it if you are looking for cost effective and filter tap water.
Not recommended in case of heavy water contamination.
