Its not a reliable product which is backed-up with poor support services & spare parts not available when you want them most.
If you experience it more, as a lay man you would come up with faulty designs in it. Not worth the money we are paying for it.

This is further to my email yesterday after receiving a non sensitive response from your team.
At the outset let me share with you that being an Indian I am proud of Brand "Tata", but for the last few years, the day, I bought the vehicle (Sumo Grande), I believe, I need to change my perception. I regret to inform you that the image/value/reputation/perception of Tata Brand (in particular Tata Motors) has taken a hit.
Let me share with you my experience and I am sure you would empathize with me for the agony and mental harassment I have gone through over last 5 years that I have owned this vehicle.I am the single owner have done aprx 90000 KM mileage under compulsion as I couldn't have bought another vehicle immediately after this investment.
I bought this vehicle in May'2008, as I liked the product and mainly because of Tata name behind it.Despite several options, from Indian as well as transnational companies, I went for Tata product as I grown up listening and experiencing about goodwill of Tatas and its reputation. For your information, prior to buying Tata vehicle, I had owned Maruti Suzuki & Honda cars.
While making the decision I did consult my friends and to be honest and frank with you, I was ridiculed about my decision to the extent that my friends joked about that I will have to spent major part of my time in Tata Motors workshop during ownership period of the vehicle, and in retrospect it seems a realty. In spite of this I trusted Tata brand and went for it.
The day I bought my vehicle from Sterling Motors, Noida, my agony started. Immediately after purchase, I remember, I had to visit not less than 5 times to the workshop for issues I started facing. I hope same (the record of my visits) could be verified and there could be some which is not even recorded.I understand that they are no more your distributors. In fact during the sale process they gave me a different booklet for extended warranty for which I had to get into argument with your team a year before due to conflicting terms and conditions of extended warranty.
Sir, I can sum up my bitter experiences for entire 5-yr-long period, as it (visiting workshop or arguing with your men) became part of my daily routine. I don't remember that at any point, I got the issues resolved in one go for major faults mainly due to lack of spares, poor workmanship, faulty product design etc. I don't see the vehicle currently in the focus of Tata Motors as well.
If your team would review the service record and appraise you about my past experience, I hope you can appreciate my concern and sentiment. If you wish , I can send you all my communications regarding various issues those I had in past with your officials.
